SHOOT: 1 day, not just in widescreen (why would anyone shoot non-widescreen these days?) but full 1080i High definition! Oh, and our crews are fully equipped with broadcast quality audio kits, full lighting rigs, safety kit, and are properly trained and legitimately qualified.

EDIT: Editing, post production which of course includes titling, captions and (if you want it) voiceover. We also keep you in the loop with offline edits for your approval before the programme goes to final post production.

DELIVERY: Once your video is approved by you, we deliver as in several formats including DVD, High Definition (for Blue-Ray playback), HD Mpeg, Standard Mpeg and a whole raft of computer formats ....you get your programme on ALL of these; not just one or two!

He is also an acknowledged expert in TV production lecturing at Glasgow's leading creative industries college and has sits on SQA qualifications design teams in media. ALL our crew hold at least an HNC level qualification in TV production or a closely related discipline and most hold advanced qualifications or are broadcast trained in TV production.

How Come the Price is so Affordable?

Simple. We've pared away our overheads to the bare minimum. No plush offices, no fancy cars and no nonsense! Even The Managing Director makes his own (and everyone else's!) tea and everyone at TFGtv.com takes an active part in actually producing programmes. We carry NO passengers!

We do use telephone, web and email communication to speed up the production process. But we don't use that as an excuse to avoid actually talking to our clients. Our service is a personal one-to-one service...

And of course we optimise production workflow by working to the very same standards you'll find in mainstream broadcasting!


How Can I be sure I'll get the video I want?

Our project milestones actually have some substance to them...

Milestone 1: We provide you with a professionally created project specification in the form of a 'treatment'. Once you're happy with it, you approve it and the scriptwriting begins!

Milestone 2: A script is developed face-to-face with you to broadcast standards. Where possible we check out your locations. The script details every last shot and every last word of dialogue. We don't move to production untill you have approved it

Milestone 3: Your approved script is adhered to throughout the shoot.

Milestone 4: Your footage moves to offline editing where we produce a rough cut. That's sent to you on DVD for your comments and review. You get to see your roughcut as often as you like on your own TV screen, to take time to consider it and to take time to feedback to us your changes. We'll run to a second roughcut before moving forward with your approval.

Milestone 5: Your programme moves to our online edit suite for final finishing. Once again you get an approval copy. Even at that stage we'll make the minor tweaks and adjustments you ask for before finalising the piece.

Milestone 6: Your programme is delivered on DVD, Hi Def AVCHD for Blue-Ray players, and in several multimedia formats.

Milestone 7: Your programme director provides you with a full 60 days of help and support to make best use of your completed programme.


The Production Steps

> You supply a brief outlining your ideas and content points, and overall creative approach.

>Your dedicated Director meets with you to develop your treatment and agree a production schedule.

>We submit a treatment for approval.

>You pay only a 20% deposit when you approve your treatment. If you don't like our proposals you owe nothing!

> In close consultation with you we develop your script and plan your shoot.

> Once you're happy and approve the script and shooting schedule you book the actual shoot by lodging a stage payment whch consists of 20% of the projected budget plus the cost of any additional services you've asked for such as actors fees etc.

> We shoot at your location using a professional Camera Operator/Director and audio assistant....

> A professional voiceover is recorded using an experienced actor.....

> We edit and post produce the footage in accordance with the approved script.....

> You view the rough cut on DVD on your own TV in peace!

> Your comments and amendments, if required, are attended to....

> You approve the final cut and pay the final installment....

> You take delivery of your programme in a wide variety of formats including HD.....
